About Us

Naquaan Tabor was born on June 19, 1991 in Paterson NJ to Ora Tabor and Antonio Williams. He is the second oldest child and oldest male of his siblings.

Naquaan was first introduced to God through his Grandmother Minister Garaline Tabor. She took Naquaan and his siblings to church every Sunday ensuring a proper foundation in God, and a consciousness of who God is.

At the age of 5 Naquaan joined the children’s choir at The Way of Life Church in Passaic NJ. It was during this time his love of singing gospel music begin.

Watching his Pastor, Elder David Gordon of The Way of Life Church singing old time gospel music, and preaching inspired Naquaan.

While working with his pastor Naquaan begin to emulate his pastor. If you lived with him you know this to be true. After returning home from Sunday morning services Naquaan would walk around the house giving an encore to that Sunday Services. Singing and preaching like his Pastor.

At the age of 15 Naquaan begin to speak at youth events and platform services. This quickly demonstrated the ministry call that God had placed on his life.

At the age of 17 Naquaan was appointed a minister at The Way of Life Church, ultimately becoming ordained 6 years later on July 20, 2014.

Remaining faithful and committed Naquaan continued to serve and honor God by laboring in God’s house. He served on over 10 of the ministries auxiliaries board, and as a close adjutant to his Pastor.

Naquaan departed The Way of Life Church in January of 2017 and joined Closer Walk Ministries in Newark NJ.

Although not an active member of The Way of Life Church, Naquaan deeply appreciates the role Pastor Gordon and Lady Gordon contributed to his development and training. He honors them as his spiritual parents.

Under the leadership of Pastor Robert Goldson and Lady Goldson at Closer Walk Ministries Naquaan continued to work diligently and faithfully cultivating the gift God has bestowed upon him.

The mentorship and development from Pastor Robert Goldson has allowed Naquaan to reach greater heights in his walk with God.

Naquaan was placed in charge of the ministry in 2018 as acting Pastor after Pastor Goldson relocated to Virginia.

Honoring the call that was placed on his life, Minister Naquaan was elevated to an Elder on May of 2019 at Closer Walk Ministries.

Under his leadership and focus on outreach membership doubled, spiritual chains were broken, heavy loads were lifted and people transitioned into disciples of Christ.

One of Naquaan’s greatest accomplishments as the acting Pastor of CWM was being able to provide over 600 meals a year to the less fortunate.

Realizing the urgent call to do more, Naquaan departed CWM on January of 2021, and founded NMPACT Ministries.

Excited about the future of the Kingdom of God, Naquaan vigorous embraces the call to serve as the Pastor of NMPACT Ministries today, as he often says “Let’s do what we are called to do.”
